Hua Sands, Physiotherapist
I am qualified to Masters level in Physiotherapy and Health Psychology in the UK, and I have worked as a senior physiotherapist in the NHS. My specialism is treating joint, muscle and nerve pain. I am HPC (Health Professions Council) registed, membership number PH70911, and a full member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (membership number 072719).
The unique service I provide in Suffolk is a combined Chinese and Western approach to help relieve your pain quickly and prevent it recurring.
Physiotherapists are the experts in providing tailored exercise regimes, manual therapy and advice to treat joint, muscle and nerve pain and prevent it recurring. Physiotherapy treatments offered at the clinic include for example, the following:
Gentle Manual Therapy. This involves hands-on treatment that may be used in conjunction with certain movements to help relieve pain and regain movement.
Electrical Therapy, e.g. Ultrasound. This involves pulses of ultrasound to reduce pain and inflammation and to enhance healing.
Exercises. These would be tailored to your condition and would be used to increase strength and mobility as required for your long term health.
Advice. This could include, for example, advice on manual handling and postural improvement to help you prevent your pain recurring.
The clinic is based in Lavenham, Suffolk, UK within easy reach of places such as Long Melford, Sudbury, Stowmarket and Bury St. Edmunds.
